At National Model School, we have designed a comprehensive language curriculum that spans from the foundational years in LKG (Lower Kindergarten) to the more advanced levels in Classes IX and X. Our language education approach centers on a three-language system, aiming to equip students with proficiency in multiple languages while nurturing an appreciation for linguistic diversity.
From LKG to Class V, students engage in a structured program focusing on three languages: English, Hindi, and Tamil. Each language receives equal emphasis in the curriculum, fostering the development of essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As students progress to Classes VI to VIII, they gain the opportunity to personalize their language learning journey. They can choose between Hindi and Tamil as their second language. In Classes IX and X, the language curriculum adopts a focused approach, with students concentrating on English and Tamil. The language chosen as the second language in Class VI becomes the primary focus for Board Examinations, ensuring students are well-prepared to demonstrate proficiency in their chosen language at the national level.
